Nadine (Moira Kelly) is a woman at a crossroads in life. Stuck in a loving but boring relationship with her bank co-worker Jonathan, she dreams of endless possibilities. When Tass, a handsome mystery man, arrives in town Nadine's life is turned upside down.
Then the bank is robbed and she is taken hostage. Life on the road in the robber's getaway car initially offers her, at least seemingly, the freedom and excitement she has been yearning for. However, as the consequences of the situation she has become involved in make themselves apparent, Nadine must live, learn and choose her destiny.
