synopsis


From the boardroom to the bedroom the battle lines are drawn! A wealthy toy manufacturer (Michael Pate) is having a mid-life crisis - his wife (Diane Cilento) is having an affair, his beautiful young mistress (Wendy Hughes) wants to get married, his drug addicted daughter (Sigrid Thornton) attempts suicide, and his business is facing a take-over from a predatory American corporation. Adapted from the David Williamson play, this wry Australian comedy-drama from director Tim Burstall (Stork, Alvin Purple, Petersen) features a great cast, witty script and excellent performances.
