Jen Kornfeldt (Katherine Heigl, The Ugly Truth) believes she'll never fall in love again. Trying to recover from a sudden break-up, she reluctantly joins her parents (Tom Selleck, TV's Las Vegas, and Catherine O'Hara, For Your Consideration) on a trip to the French Riviera where she falls head over heels for the man of her dreams - the dashing, handsome Spencer Aimes (Ashton Kutcher, Valentine's Day).
Three years later and Jen and Spencer are still acting like newlyweds living the ideal suburban life. That is until the morning after Spencer's 30th birthday party when bullets start flying. Literally.
Unfortunately Spencer has never gotten around to telling Jen he was once an international super-spy and someone is out to get him. With her perfect world turned upside down Jen is determined to discover what other secrets Spencer might be keeping - all the while dodging bullets, numerous would-be assassins, keeping up neighbourly appearances, and managing the in-laws.
And you thought life in the burbs was dull and easy.
