synopsis


Michael Armstrong (Paul Newman), an American scientist, and his secretary and fiancee Sarah Sherman (Julie Andrews) pose as defectors to East Germany so they can gather details of the Soviets' nuclear missiles. Once they accomplish their mission, the couple must find a way to safely escape from behind the Iron Curtain in this Alfred Hitchcock espionage thriller.
