Stardust (1973)

synopsis

This sequel to "That'll Be The Day" traces the rise of Jim MacLaine and his band The Stray Cats, overseen by sly, manipulative manager Mike (Adam Faith). As their growing success brings a record contract and gigs at ever bigger venues, the inevitable rock star baggage of screaming groupies, drugs and arguments among the band cause increasing tensions. But will this bring the rags-to-riches story to a bitter end?
