Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Harrison Lloyd (David Strathairn) is presumed dead in foreign territory, but his wife Sarah (Andie MacDowell) knows he's alive. Unable to convince her to turn back, Harrison colleagues join Sarah in her pursuit. Armed with their camera lenses, fellow photojournalists Kyle (Adrien Brody) and Stevenson (Brendan Gleeson) and Harrison's best friend Yeager (Elias Koteas) embark on a dangerous journey and unveil a courage they never knew they had.
