Stan and George's New Life

synopsis

Stan and George's New Life is a delight from start to finish. Paul Chubb plays a single fortysomething barber who still lives with his parents. His life is deathly dull so as a solution he gets a job at the Weather Bureau(!), where he meets George. George also feels as though her life is slipping away and before long they fall in love and marry. In between are some of the most painfully funny observations of working life even filmed. Stan and George is well worth watching, and you can impress your friends with such an obscure choice! 9/10.
