Jack Welles, a tough country cop survives a shoot out to find himself in possession of the pay off for a huge drug deal. He decides to keep the money so that he and his restless young wife Leanne can start a new life, but his dreams turn sour when he returns to discover Leanne with her young lover. In the ensuing struggle the lovers believe they have accidentally killed Jack. They dump his body, take the money and jump on a train headed for the city... Thus begins a hot chase across the outback.
