Nordic noir thriller directed by Mikkel Nørgaard and starring Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Fares Fares. Reassigned to Department Q after an accident leaves his partner dead, Carl (Kaas) now spends his time trawling through old, unsolved cases.
Accompanied by his new assistant Assad (Fares), Carl begins to obsess over a high-profile case where a young female politician disappeared while travelling onboard a ferry. The only apparent lead in the disappearance and apparent suicide is the girl's younger brother who suffers from brain damage.
Carl, while acting against the orders of his superiors, tries his hardest to dig deeper and find some answers however, the more he learns, the more he realises that some things are best left hidden...
