This hit futuristic comedy is a fresh and sublimely entertaining tale from French filmakers, Jeunet and Caro. In a starving, post-holocaust France, a butcher keeps his customers supplied by his cannibalistic tendencies. But when his daughter falls in love with a circus performer, only an underground band of vegetarian freedom fighters can save her beloved from the meat cleaver. French dialogue with subtitles. |

	              | I so enjoyed watching this movie. I didn't realise it was from the same director who did Amelie. It was so quirky, good story, great characters. So, very different to the normal Hollywood movies. What a joy to watch. I will get it out again one day, as I reckon I missed quite a lot, so a second viewing will be inevitable. | |
