The gay-themed, enormously popular stage act of the Australian female impersonator/impressionist/comedian Reg Livermore, is recorded here on film. His song impressions include Lou Reed, Billy Joel, and Charles Azanavour. The characters he enacts include Betty Blokk-Buster, a German maid who wears nothing but a hat and an apron; a Southern belle; and Vaseline Amalnitrate, a foul-mouthed soccer player who now dances for the Australian Ballet. -- Clarke Fountain

I had been searching for this film of the original Sydney performance for some 16 years. Even Asked Reg if he knew where some copies could be, then I stumbled through Google on to this site. The show was everything I remembered from 1976.
If you are a Reg Livermore fan - do take time to rent this.
