Leon The Pig Farmer

synopsis

Award winning offbeat comedy featuring a superb British cast. Leon (Mark Frankel) is London's only scrupulously honest estate agent. Nowhere near married, he's got an unrequited lust for the girl upstairs Lisa (Gina Bellman) who's Jewish but into Buddhism. Behind the back of his ever watchful family he becomes embroiled in a passionate affair with a blonde goddess Madeleine (Maryam D'Abo), who hates estate agents but loves Jews. To cap it all, Leon finds out he is the product of artificial insemination. Not only that but his biological father is Brian Chadwick (Brian Glover), a bluff Yorkshire pig farmer! Leon travels North and is enthusiastically welcomed into his new family, but feels uncomfortable - until the Chadwicks decide to become Jewish to make him more at home. Loyalties are stretched to breaking point when he accidentally breeds the world's first kosher pig!
