Starring one of the silver screen's most famous couples, Lawrence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, Twenty-One Days was tipped for box-office success. Keith Durrant, K.C. plays a brilliant young barrister who is on the verge of being promoted to the Bench as a junior judge, when his wild younger brother, Larry, accidentally kills the ex-husband of his girlfriend Wanda. When Larry turns to Keith for help, Keith faces the dilemma of whether to inform the police, well knowing that if he does his chances of becoming a judge will be ruined. He decides to keep quiet. A tramp, Evans is arrested and found guilty of the murder. Larry knows that he must turn himself in as an innocent man is being wrongly punished. With only twenty-one days left before sentencing, the two lovers set out to make the most of their last days together, enjoying a riotous time around London. When Evans dies in prison, Larry faces the moral dilemma of whether to come clean or live the rest of his life harbouring his guilty secret...
