synopsis

During the British withdrawal from India, Anglo-Indian WAC Victoria Jones is torn between two worlds. Traumatized by an attempted rape, Victoria turns from her callous Anglo-Indian lover to a full-blooded Sikh, then to British Colonel Savage, who is trying to prevent communist agitator Darvay from fomenting bloody revolt. More and more, Victoria finds herself caught up in the turbulent events of the time.
