During the British withdrawal from India, Anglo-Indian WAC Victoria Jones is torn between two worlds. Traumatized by an attempted rape, Victoria turns from her callous Anglo-Indian lover to a full-blooded Sikh, then to British Colonel Savage, who is trying to prevent communist agitator Darvay from fomenting bloody revolt.
