Many years have passed since Margot was brutally murdered: a crime for which her husband Alex (Francois Cluzet) was the prime suspect. He is able to escape his grief only by immersing himself in his work as a paediatrician and through his friendship with his sister's lover Helene (Kristin Scott Thomas), his only link to the world.
But when two bodies are uncovered near where Margot's corpse was found, her case is reopened.
Shockingly, this incident coincides with Alex receiving email images of Margot. Could she possibly be alive?
