From Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Amelie, Delicatessen), one of cinema's most inspired and inventive talents, comes Micmacs, a dazzling and deeply human film that is part comic fable and part caper.
When oddball video store clerk Bazil (Danny Boon: Welcome to the Sticks, The Valet) becomes an innocent bystander to a random shootout, an unlucky chain of events ensues that lands him both homeless and out of work. Soon Bazil is adopted by a colourful band of misfits who reside in an elaborate cave in a junkyard. Each with their own unique talent, the group rally behind Bazil in his quest to take down the weapons manufacturer responsible for sparking his run of bad luck.

Featuring Jeunet's trademark sense of wonder, Micmacs is full of magical schemes and a chain of fateful events that lead Bazil and his friends through the bewildering mysteries of life. The aesthetic sensibility at play in Micmacs is breathtaking; and with its ingenious plot, infectious imagination and sprinkling of romance, it never fails to delight and entertain.
